Review of the Spanish Presidency of the Council (debate)
Date: N/A | Language: ESWe Socialists can be very proud of the balance sheet of the Spanish Presidency, because it has been able to meet its objectives with the adoption of more than 45 legislative files. This is more than the usual average, which highlights our commitment to the major transformations that our Union needs and, in particular, to the reindustrialisation of Europe and the strengthening of its open strategic autonomy, as well as to advancing the green transition and social and economic justice. Pedro Sánchez has once again managed to lead the construction of a more just, more social, more tolerant, more feminist and greener Union, despite the resistance of the right and the extreme right, which only understand the homeland from hatred, lies and disloyalty. In front of the Popular Party and Vox, which have been dedicated throughout this semester to trying to torpedo the execution of the 160 billion of Spain's recovery plan, the Iberian exception and the pension reform, we socialists have successfully promoted an ambitious progressive agenda to improve the lives of our citizens.
