Mr President, thank you very much. I am very pleased that it has finally been possible to reach an agreement on this directive, because insurance against civil liability in respect of the use of motor vehicles is a topic that has been warming up the discussion for many years. And special congratulations to Dita and to all the shadow rapporteurs, to the Commission, for having managed to reach an agreement that I know was difficult. I remember the discussion on this issue about 13 years ago, when I started working in the European Parliament. Then, unfortunately, the Council blocked this work for a good few years. Today we are making some progress, but the fact that we are harmonising some regulations and regulating some electric two-wheelers is really not enough. Because let's be honest, it must be said honestly that we do not solve the fundamental problem, which concerns what very many consumers complain about: it will still not be possible to conclude an insurance contract for a car in one EU Member State and use it freely in other countries. I know that it is because of the Council's resistance that citizens will still not be able to take full advantage of our common European market. We're going to have to come back to this, and I hope that we will in the near future.

Madam President, I'm sorry. I wanted to ask you, do you know what hypocrisy is? I can show you this in a very simple example. Hypocrisy is, for example, pretending to protect human life from conception to natural death. Instead of giving a hand to women in desperate situations, taking care of them, supporting them, pushing them soullessly to illegal, dangerous also for health and life, underground or sending them abroad. Respect for life? The hypocrisy of this government, members of the ruling party, including those present in the hall, is simply unbearable. On our eastern border, by the decisions of this very government, which pretends to protect lives, adults and children behind barbed wire die of hunger, thirst and cold. Let me point out that they too are conceived children, but they are already big, and it's really not their fault. I no longer appeal to the Polish government for anything, because I have no illusions and I am very sorry.
