Mr President, Commissioner, ladies and gentlemen, a kilo of explosives was used to intimidate Ranucci: closeness to him and his family. A criminal act that I condemn without hesitation. Freedom of the press, of thought, of speech are the boundary that separates us from authoritarian and theocratic regimes. But these freedoms must always be defended, all of them, without exception. However, this is not the case: Reactions to Kirk's death have taught us. On the left, it is too difficult to condemn with the same force the attacks against journalists and thinkers labeled as right-wing, those who make uncomfortable investigations, such as those who denounced the links between a part of the Italian left and Hamas or those who face Islamic radicalization. It takes consistency and honesty because "double-pesism", based on ideas and political positioning, is hypocritical and betrays all freedom.

(IT) Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, the August earthquake in Afghanistan led to deaths of mothers, children and grandmothers. They were left to die under the rubble while begging for help. The rescuers, all men, did not touch them. They were women and therefore condemned to die, dramatically and in the most deafening silence of the left, of feminists, of Albanians, of Salis. No headlines, no TV shows. Everybody shut up. Because taking a stand against radical Islam is too dangerous. Radicalization kills, but also cowardly and ideological silence.

Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, today, President von der Leyen, you gave a show of balance, climbing on mirrors in an attempt to please everyone. A soup of sole intentions, but for six years you have been at the helm and the tragic consequences are before everyone's eyes. Talk about reconciling defense and green transition, should we imagine solar-paneled tanks and biodegradable bullets? And while calling for rearmament against Russia, the threat is already here: fifth Islamist columns in our cities shouting "death to the West!". Strategic security is not only military, but also industrial: With less than 90% of emissions, you are condemning our companies and our workers by selling them off to China. Make it clear: wants to defend Europe or make it kneel in Beijing, continuing the crazy policies green Just to keep this shaky majority of yours going?

Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, I was astonished to hear President von der Leyen say earlier that companies have grown in recent years. You have to wonder what reality you live in. This majority pretends not to realize that it has devastated Europe, destroying thousands of workers in the fisheries, agriculture and forestry sectors.automotive, in the maritime sector, and all in the name of a crazy, ideological Green Deal that you do not want to change. And now, with the same false urgency, invent a new bogeyman, complete with videos with ridiculous playing cards and lighter. The imminent danger of war in our countries: invented. For years you have told us that you could not make debt but, suddenly, to save Germany from the tragedy that she herself created, now you can. Then, if you can, that money has to go to health care; They must go to school, to work, to the real economy, not to these failed ideological strategies! Three years of absolute zero with Ukraine: We also want a strong army, but you are no longer credible. And why? Because you've failed everything you've touched.

Madam President, Commissioner, ladies and gentlemen, I have been on the Balkan route, where I have seen with my own eyes the passers-by at work. There, a trip from Bosnia to Italy also costs 10 000 euros and it is all very easy, discounted. It is a human trafficking that makes the traffickers in the world up to 6 billion dollars a year and carries with it the weight, of course, of thousands of human lives, but above all insecurity, illegality, the mafia and drugs. And it is unacceptable that this business is facilitated by the European Union, which in Lipa, for example, has financed the center that supports these irregular entries. Talking about traffickers without acting on it? We find it absurd. The European Union has great responsibilities, for what it has not done and for what it has done. And talk about traffickers now, maybe it's late. Now, however, we urgently await the proposals to increase returns and especially rejections, with the ABA at the external borders of Europe. Zero tolerance.

Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, the Balkans and the European Union? Along the Balkan route there is an affront to Europe, and to Italy in particular. The center in Lipa, Bosnia, built with 1.7 million euros of European citizens, does not block illegal immigration but encourages it. Irregular migrants, whom the Croatian police reject, can thus constantly repeat the attempt to cross the border. I saw it with my own eyes: In Lipa they are fed, equipped and led by criminal networks. From there they leave because the Croatian border is one step away. They call it "The Game", but it's not a game: It is an illegal race, endlessly tried, to Trieste, Venice and Milan, which pay the price and safety. I asked the European Commission, in a question, how it can justify the use of public money to encourage illegal border crossings, which must instead be protected with the best use of Frontex and with real refoulement centres that block and do not encourage the passage on the Balkan route.

Mr President, Madam High Representative, ladies and gentlemen, the subversion by jihadist groups of Assad's brutal and dictatorial regime is a further aggravation of the already precarious conditions of the Middle East powder keg. Europe is in danger of losing its soul. The jihadists have conquered Syria by imposing their project of Islamist domination, but let us not delude ourselves that this remains confined there: Islam's goal is to expand, infiltrate, strike and subdue. Islamization is not a distant risk, unfortunately. It is already among us and it is importing – it has already imported – a cultural model that is not only incompatible with our Christian roots, but also threatens our security and our identity. Do we want a free or sharia-subjugated Europe? We must choose now, with strength and courage. Stop uncontrolled immigration; Yes to the defense of borders and the protection of our civilization, because there is no future without identity.

Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, this Commission is a serious betrayal of the will shown by the voters, who have instead called for a change in European policies that have marginalised our continent in global markets, brought our agriculture and our typical products to their knees, altered identity and Western values with permissive policies and tolerance towards all the fundamentalisms of Islamic cultures. While trying to marginalize the third group for political representation, that of the Patriots, we reconstruct the ambiguity of a Commission that already shows the limits of precariousness and the will to continue under the pressure of socialists and leftists. Programs of that Green Dealwith a Commissioner, Ribera, even more fundamentalist than the previous one, and the action to distort the foundations of civil coexistence, ignoring the demands for a Europe closer to the citizens. For this reason the esteem towards the Italian Commissioner Fitto, who has well conducted the difficult match of the NRRP in Italy, and the Hungarian Commissioner Várhelyi cannot be the alibi to endorse this operation, which goes against the interests of citizens to protect ideology.

Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, defending borders is a duty towards our citizens, towards our countries. Now the proposal put forward by 15 Member States, including Italy, to establish repatriation centers outside European borders, goes in the direction that has long been proposed and voted by the League. This proposal will now be discussed by EU Home Affairs Ministers this Thursday and hopefully placed on the agenda of the next European Council. For too long Europe has dealt with the issue of migration in an ineffective, ideological way, leaving some countries, Italy in particular, alone to manage unsustainable flows. Is there finally an awareness? We need concrete solutions, fast, decisive, able to protect our borders with a clear message: Only those who have the right to enter. Because uncontrolled flows undermine our social systems, the security of territories. In this regard, my thoughts turn to Friuli-Venezia Giulia, which is severely affected by the Balkan route of which too little is spoken. A centre for repatriations outside the borders of the EU, at the level of Bosnia, is now crucial. Let us no longer leave the issue in the hands of human traffickers and Taliban NGOs.

Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, since Islamic fundamentalists took control of Afghanistan in 2021, they have deprived millions of women and girls of all human dignity and a free and safe life. This persecution has reached unsustainable levels with the introduction, on August 21, of a new law that prohibits women from singing, acting and speaking aloud in public and that obliges them to keep their face and body completely covered. It is absolute submission. A scandalous and unacceptable situation, towards which the West, including our institutions, can no longer remain silent and has a duty to intervene. To date, very little has been done, especially denying the existence of the serious problem of the process of fundamentalist Islamization that nullifies the dignity of women. Precisely for this reason, I wrote to President Metsola, so that the European Parliament also fights to protect these persecuted women, but also to protect all the women and girls forced by Islamic fundamentalism into submission, even those in our home. Clear positions must be taken. These barbarities are the result of the application of the principles of Islamic fundamentalism, of sharia law, which also regulate the life of Islamic communities inside and outside the home. How many Saman Abbas, slaughtered because they want to choose, will we still have to cry?
