The rise of religious intolerance in Europe (continuation of debate)
Date:
10.10.2024 08:27
| Language: PL
Madam President, thank you very much. Blessings of God! For God's sake, the novels in this sad room cross at the beginning of the fight against intolerance. In the Polish Sejm, he hardly bothers anyone. Why are you denying our European Christian heritage? After all, even the EU flag is inspired by the image of Mary, which you forget today. Today, Christians are the most discriminated religious group in the world and also in Europe. In this House, we condemn human rights violations around the world. We defend various minorities, and we forget about the discriminated majority living in our country. Christians today are silent victims. There is no minute of silence or resolution. Reports document an increase in hate crimes against Christians in Europe. The number of profanations of Christian temples and cemeteries is increasing. There is a big problem of converts from Islam to Christianity, about which the media is silent, but it is also the masked face of intolerance. Freedom of speech is restricted, the clause of conscience, the cross is forbidden. Leftist circles are particularly active in this field.
2024 Annual Rule of law report (debate)
Date:

| Language: PL
Mr President, thank you very much. Ladies and Gentlemen, The rule of law is a buzzword. It allows you to interfere in the internal affairs of the Member States. You praise the same deeds in some and criticize in others. You don't want the law to be followed. You want us to obey the European Union and implement the Green Deal and all your crazy policies. In Poland, it can be seen on the palm of your hand. When the pillar serving the Germans and Brussels came to power, you stopped accusing us of violating the rule of law without any word I check. The result is deplorable. Citizens have lost confidence in the rule of law, as even your opinion polls show. What is the value of these reports? In a report from the previous year, the arrest of Russian spy Pablo Rubtsov (Pablo Gonzalez) by Poland was an example of a violation of the rule of law. And a year later, this agent was released to Russia as part of an exchange of agents. And you didn't even apologize for it. Anyway, look what's going on here. In the European Parliament, the vote counts on the eye. You often go beyond the treaties. You're using sanitary cordons. How does this relate to the rule of law? You do not obey the law, but you want to teach others the rule of law.
Prevention of drug-related crimes, their effect on European citizens and the need for an effective European response (debate)

Madam President, thank you very much. The war on drugs that you are proposing will not succeed, because it has simply never and nowhere worked. In the United States, Al Capone's fortune was built during the Alcohol Prohibition. And it works the same way today as it did back then. It doesn't matter if you forbid alcohol or drugs. The forbidden fruit simply attracts some people who will buy it regardless of the price, especially if they are addicted. On the black market, on the other hand, prices are higher, and therefore profits are higher. And that's why criminal organizations have money to smuggle, to corrupt officials, to carry out all their criminal activities. This is how the black market works. In addition, there is no protection of competition on the black market, there is no arbitration, there is no protection of workers' rights. There is only violence and exploitation. And that's how these organizations work. To eliminate it, you have to take away their black market, take away their profits. And then you can take care of prevention, and make people aware that drugs are harmful. And the war on drugs that you're proposing simply won't work.
Taxing the super-rich to end poverty and reduce inequalities: EU support to the G20 Presidency’s proposal (topical debate)
Date:

| Language: PL
Mr President, thank you very much. Ladies and Gentlemen, Taxation is theft. Taxation is the legalized looting of the fruits of human labor by the state. And this postulated taxation of the rich is really an even greater scandal that will affect everyone, not only those who are supposed to pay this tax. For hundreds of years, economists have insisted that taxes are passable. The eminent Polish economist Adam Krzyżanowski pointed out that the direct reflex of the taxed person is the intention to increase the price of goods or services by at least the amount of the loss caused by the tax. This means that the tax will actually be paid by all of us consumers, not the super-rich you want to tax. The rich can afford the most expensive lawyers, the most expensive accountants. They'll avoid that tax anyway. But this tax system will hit the poorest. Taxes must be low and simple for everyone, from shoe to millionaire. I'm not defending the rich here, but I want to empower millions of anonymous people who will soon become entrepreneurs, and their ingenuity will make the lives of future generations easier. Let's move away from building an open-air museum, a cartel. Let's simplify and lower taxes for everyone, and don't spend anyone else's money.
The crisis facing the EU’s automotive industry, potential plant closures and the need to enhance competitiveness and maintain jobs in Europe (debate)
Date:
08.10.2024 13:58
| Language: PL
Mr President, Ladies and Gentlemen, The problems faced by the automotive industry are not a crisis, but a result. This is the result of this crazy climate policy of the European Union, which fights against traditional cars, with internal combustion engines. It is because of this that the automotive industry is forced to shift production faster and more rapidly than it would have done as a result of market action. At the same time, you are hypocrites. When Chinese electric cars that meet your high standards began to gain popularity, you are imposing additional duties on them to discourage European citizens from buying them. What's the point? Either your concern for the environment is a bluff – you just hate drivers and want to force people to abandon their cars – or you don’t care about European consumers. It does not matter to you that it will be more expensive and worse. You are now protecting European producers because, under the weight of your regulations, they are going bankrupt because they are too expensive. We should not introduce any prohibitive tariffs, but in the end relieve EU automotive operators. We should cut labour and energy costs, and we should also throw the Green Deal in the trash.
Organised crime, a major threat to the internal security of the European Union and European citizens (topical debate)
Date:
18.09.2024 10:54
| Language: PL
Madam President, thank you very much. The European Union was supposed to facilitate the free movement of people, goods and capital, and today it actually facilitates the activities of organised crime. Three examples. First, the VAT mafias, which use a flawed system with zero VAT at the border. It's a problem you've known for years, and you're not doing anything about it. Second, the junk mafia. It is estimated that up to 30% of waste trade in the European Union is illegal. In Poland, for years, we have had a massive import of waste and numerous fires of illegal landfills. You're not doing anything about it either. Finally, people smuggling. The policy of forced relocation of immigrants is to throw incentives at smugglers. According to Europol, more than 90% of illegal immigrants reach the European Union thanks to smugglers, whose profits amount to up to €6 billion a year. Anyone who supports mass, uncontrolled, illegal immigration is actually building a villa with a pool for mobsters who smuggle people in. Germany is closing the wrong borders right now. Close the external borders of the European Union and end illegal immigration.
Situation in Venezuela (debate)
Date:
17.09.2024 19:06
| Language: PL
Madam President, thank you very much. Equally 85 years ago, Soviet troops entered Poland without declaring war, beginning a very sad and very long period of communism and Soviet occupation in Poland. These are the ideal ancestors of Nicolas Maduro. And just as they have robbed Poles of their dreams for generations, today Nicolas Maduro has stolen power and robbed Venezuelans of their dreams. There is indisputable evidence that the opposition won the elections, and yet Nicolas Maduro, as befits a socialist dictator, ignores not only the economy but also reality, and still maintains that he has the right to rule Venezuela. Instead of wealth, it brought poverty to Venezuelans, instead of development, stagnation, and instead of freedom, it brought censorship and persecution. The socialist regime kidnaps, tortures and kills the opposition. And Venezuela finally said basta! And we must support their struggle for freedom. Socialism kills. Freedom for María Oropeza! Long live Venezuela! Long live the freedom, damn it!
State of the Energy union (debate)
Date:
17.09.2024 14:28
| Language: PL
Mr President, thank you very much. It is no longer an energy union, it is an energy murder under the ideology of climateism. Climate policy, including the Green Deal, threatens Europe with catastrophe. Instead of building a competitive, healthy economy, we are taking our industry outside Europe and energy prices are breaking records. In Poland, energy prices, electricity prices have increased by around 150% and gas by 2-3 times over the last 5 years. It is no different in other countries. Regions such as Silesia, the heart of Polish industry, are facing the loss of their identity. The coal that was behind their wealth is now becoming their curse. It's sick, isn't it? We are closing mines and relying on the supply of critical raw materials from countries that are the largest coal consumers in the world, such as China, Australia and Turkey. Last year, global coal consumption was 8.5 billion tons. China used more than half, and Poland only 60 million. Why are you closing Polish mines and not Chinese ones? This is mainly where coal is mined. That is why we cannot be the victim of such a harmful, sick policy. Energy security, which is based on stable and indigenous sources, should be put on the table. We also need to develop nuclear energy and increase its share in the energy mix. And the energy transition itself should be gradual, not incremental, and based on rationalism and real economic needs. We say decisively that the economy should not be guided by the ideology of climateism. It is technology and green energy that should serve man, not man that should serve technology. The Energy Union cannot rely on dictatorship and on cost.
The future of European competitiveness (debate)
Date:

| Language: PL
Madam President, thank you very much. Draghi's report gives a good diagnosis of the causes of the European Union's economic stagnation, including the main one: We are constrained by excessive regulation, which hinders development. History shows that the increase in wealth is the result of economic freedom, not the actions of bureaucrats. Wealth and development cannot be enacted by law. It is entrepreneurs who, responding to the needs of consumers, are innovative, build a better future and create wealth. In the 19th century, the vast majority of people lived in extreme poverty. Since then, 90% of humanity has come out of it. Every day, more than 100,000 people lift themselves out of poverty through freedom of action. They don't do it through grants, loans, central planning. Innovation and the free market are the source of growth. Our great enrichment resulted from the withdrawal of the state from the economy. States have allowed people to act, they have allowed themselves to be rich. If the European Union wants to compete with the US and Asia, it should support economic freedom, not increase regulation. The problem of the Green Deal and high energy prices was rightly highlighted. This increases the cost of living and limits freedom of action. However, the solution proposed by Mr Draghi in the form of the issuance of debt, which we and our descendants will pay in taxes, cannot be absolutely accepted. Besides, a large budget does not create innovation. The state does not make money on the free market, but on compulsory taxes. It is the enemy of competition and therefore the enemy of innovation. Therefore, the European Union should not deal with innovation, but should allow people to act and increase economic freedom. I hope that you will finally wake up and Europe will once again become a leader, inspiring the world to reject central planning.
