And, then, if we do not want to succumb, we need an act of courage and responsibility to change this Europe as soon as possible, which is under the illusion of having a future by favouring its competitors and being ashamed of itself.

Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, do we want to build electric cars? We are subordinate to Beijing. Do we want to build modern defense systems? Beijing must authorize us. Do we want progress, innovation and the future? We depend on Beijing. Because, with the Green Deal and its nefarious industrial policies, this short-sighted and ideological Europe has sold off its economy to its biggest competitor, China. The League, on the other hand, has always opposed it and today, finally, thanks to the DDL Sicurezza, even pregnant women will be able to face certain forms of detention. This will therefore be a turning point, not only to stop the criminal activities of the Roma, but above all to put an end to a shameful practice, which humiliates motherhood and tramples on women's rights.

(IT) Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, radical Islam shows all its ruthless inhumanity in Afghanistan. We are on the side of common sense. Thanks to the new security decree – strongly opposed by the left – we defend private property with a sword, providing for immediate evictions and severe penalties for those who illegally occupy it. Unfortunately, Europe is also a succubus of this radical left and demonstrates this with absurd measures, such as the greenThey will once again penalise homeowners. Europe has not understood that for Italians the house is not a whim or any good, but it is family, it is tradition and it is culture. The house is sacred. And then it is not enough to allocate some funds, however conditioned as always to absurd rules greenBut we must protect property, as political scientist Walter Lippmann said: Without property, there is no freedom.

Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, the European Commission has succeeded in destroying our country's economy, but it has certainly made China's economy rich. In fact, because of electrification and the forced ecological transition, we are now completely dependent on a communist country and certainly not a democratic one. And while we get bogged down in the Green Deal, between constraints, prohibitions and green bureaucracy, China has invaded us with goods produced without respecting any rules, and has stolen our intellectual property and new technological patents. And while he digs, refines and sells at the price he wants the raw materials, that price that today, coincidentally, is rising. Guess who will pay the final bill? We are. Here is the paradox, therefore, served: We want electric cars, wind turbines and batteries, but we refuse to look for or produce the materials needed to build them in Europe. So, we have to understand that it is already too late and we have to reverse the course, otherwise from the green transition we will actually only be left to the green.

Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, even a child knows that it is not possible to build the roof of a building unless the foundations are first built. Yet this short-sighted and ideological Europe has done so. Defying the laws of common sense and rationality, it imposed its electrical transition by decree, without, however, worrying about setting up an adequate production and distribution network that would guarantee the necessary foundations for the noble objective of environmental sustainability. The result today is before everyone's eyes. The building of the Green Deal It would have already collapsed on itself if coal-fired power plants, Middle Eastern oil, Chinese technology, but above all the enormous efforts of citizens and businesses that today find themselves paying the most expensive bills in the world. You started from ideology and now, just now, you are wondering how to do it in practice, with a resounding delay that will cost us millions more euros. So much to pay the price of your crazy choices are always the same: the citizens I cram and the businesses I shut down.

Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, the cancellation or delay of a flight has serious consequences for people's lives and work. They can ruin a holiday costing sacrifices, make a customer lose or blow up a deal. Today, Europe, with a new regulation, intends to squeeze the rights of travellers, increasing the hours of delay of aircraft needed to be compensated, and thus effectively reducing reimbursements by up to 85%, and lengthening the time for rerouting on other flights. We will oppose any attempt to harm consumers, but in the same way we will continue to fight against absurd rules. green, Like the ones that are taxing our European airlines, which oblige them, and only them, to use a share of ecological fuels five times more expensive than traditional ones, thus effectively benefiting foreign companies. It is time for Europe to finally be on the side of those who make it grow and prosper, protecting its citizens and valuing its businesses.

But if you are white and persecuted, no one in this Parliament cares. The European Union has always prided itself on being at the forefront of anti-racism and anti-discrimination: This is why we have welcomed millions of self-styled refugees from Africa. Yet, we find that there are some discriminations that are not worthy of attention from the European Union. In South Africa, we are witnessing a systemic racial persecution of white citizens, the Afrikaners, who have been living in that land for centuries: land confiscation, threats, assassinations, rapes, with the approval of the South African government, supported by political parties that even praise the murder of the white man. The United States of America has rightly decided to welcome these persecuted families, while from Brussels not a single word, nor any will to save them.

Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, while Europe is dealing with tariffs, tariffs are already among us. And Trump didn't put them: You have put them in these years, when you have cut off the legs of manufacturing, trade, agriculture, with bureaucratic burdens that cost our companies 154 billion euros every year, so much more than the 100 billion euros in which the future American tariffs have been estimated. You have self-imposed tariffs even when you have launched short-sighted ideological policies such as the Green Deal, stopping the endothermic engines that are only leading Europe to productive desertification and unemployment, depriving families of their purchasing power. So, instead of pointing the finger at those leaders who choose to do the interest of their country, take an example and cancel all those impositions that are leading Europe to industrial and geopolitical suicide. Otherwise, tariffs are yet another convenient scapegoat to cover up the failures of self-defeating policies, unable to give Europe a future: The future he deserves.

Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, once again I am appalled by a surreal debate in this House, which has been going on for far too long: Taxpayers' money to integrate Roma communities. We are talking about 21 billion euros only between 2014 and 2020. Well, I don't think it takes a plethora of officials or experts to understand that these programs are resounding failures: It is enough to take a tour of the Milanese or Rome subways to witness every day the odious phenomenon of Roma pickpockets, who also claim that stealing is their job. It is enough to take a tour of a Roma camp to see that there is neither legality nor integration there, or to talk to a school leader to understand that the participation of Roma children in school is close to absences of up to 100%. So, here, the money that we use for these programs, let's give it to the police to bring security back to our cities, because to integrate the Roma it is enough that they do only one thing: that they respect the rules, just as all of us citizens do.

Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, today in this House you want to talk about better wages, the right to health, the right to education, but then I ask you why when the Italian Government asked to be able to invest in order to reduce the cost of labour, to give more weight to wages, to restructure schools, to strengthen the health system, the answer was: No, the stability pact is untouched! Today you radically change your mind and instead give us permission to make debt. Debt, however, not for the benefit of citizens, but at the expense of citizens, putting a debt of €850 billion on their shoulders and on those of future generations: a monstrous figure that will not benefit the community but the car manufacturers, who will finally come out of the crisis to which Europe has condemned them, building some useless and dangerous tank. Enough hypocrisy, we who are always on the side of Italian citizens will never be your accomplices.

Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, today, the Commission is giving us yet another strategy to relaunch European industry, after having sunk it with its own hands. Yet, in your "Clean Industry" plan, we fail to see any substantive changes: Confirm the insane race to the electric; Just whisper the phrase "technological neutrality" and snubbed the use of nuclear power for civilian purposes. In addition, in the face of the collapse of the electric car, instead of reversing on the Green Deal In a completely inconsistent way, you decide to invest €850 billion to build tanks. And you do it, moreover, without any parliamentary mandate and asking, once again, enormous sacrifices to those citizens who, because of your wicked policies, cannot reach the end of the month. The problem is that while in here we waste time playing Risk, out there China every day blows us market share and every minute lost to save our businesses is a tombstone on European competitiveness.

Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, once again the Made in Italy It is in danger because of Europe. This Mercosur free trade treaty risks causing incalculable and irreversible damage to our agricultural businesses, but also to our citizens. This agreement will eliminate 92 % of European duties on imports from these countries. Too bad that, in this way, we will find ourselves on the tables produced with low quality standards and hygienic standards lower than European ones. Not only: these foods will be sold at bargain prices, unfairly competing with our producers and could therefore also put the health of our citizens at risk. And, once again, it will be farmers and consumers who will pay the costs of Brussels' nefarious policies.

Do you not think that, before eliminating any duty to make us invade by agricultural products poor in terms of quality, to sell a few more cars, it would be appropriate instead to review our European policies and stimulate our domestic demand and not that of foreign countries?

Mr Pereira, you mentioned European car manufacturers who, thanks to this treaty, could finally sell their cars in South America. But you do not know that today, thanks to short-sighted European policies, these companies no longer sell a car in Europe. Stellantis recorded -36% of car sales in Europe in 2024; 300 000 cars sold: Numbers from the 1950s. Instead of so many useless conferences and secret meetings, do the one thing that European citizens ask of you: cancel the stop to traditional engines to 2035, put an end to the season of ideology green Let's start with pragmatism.

(IT) Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, the end of extreme environmentalism, the repatriation of illegal immigrants, the end of the obligation to buy only electric cars, the defence of borders, the eradication of ideology woke and peace in Ukraine and the Middle East, with the promise of a new golden age. These were the key phrases that President Trump uttered yesterday during the inauguration. Common sense phrases, which I believe every European would like to hear here too. What does Europe do? Exactly the opposite, that is, he continues to talk about stopping traditional engines, insists on the pushed Green Deal, despite the loss of hundreds of jobs, does not want a plan to re-immigrate immigrants who have committed crimes and continues to support the ideology wokeincreasingly insane and far from reality. I therefore call on the commissioners and bureaucrats to listen carefully to what President Trump has said, because this wind of change is blowing strongly and you will not be able to stop it. We too adopt the Trump recipe and make Europe great again.

Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, today in Italy we are witnessing an unseemly spectacle: Thousands of workers forced home, traffic jams, cancelled trains, blocked subways, paralyzed cities and millions of euros in damages. And why all this? Because Landini and four left-wing unions, instead of defending and representing the Italian workers, have decided to become the armed wing of the PD in the hope, perhaps, of winning a candidacy in Parliament in the next elections. These trade unionists are ridiculing a right that millions of workers have fought for, making it a mere tool of political propaganda for their electoral interests. Think about it: more than 1 600 strikes in 2024 alone. But where was Landini when the Green Deal was passed here in this House and left millions of workers at home? This is the simple recipe for common sense contained in the Budapest Declaration on European Competitiveness. In short, we could say that Europe must do exactly the opposite of what it has done so far. Yes, because the enlightened progressives of the left have so far done nothing but weaken our industry and our competitiveness, wasting billions of euros in radical environmentalism and obtaining, as the only result, unemployment, deindustrialization, a dark future for the new generations. Well, we had to wait for the so vituperated and dangerous sovereignist Orban to finally hear about a European industrial strategy. I therefore really hope that Europe will finally put an end to the mad season of madness. green, starting with the stop to traditional engines.

(IT) Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, in Lombardy 46 % of the prison population is non-EU, with peaks of over 60 % in the Milanese prison of San Vittore. An explosive situation, where the work of the prison police is always made difficult by really complex conditions, as I had the opportunity to verify in person at the last visit made to the prison of Brescia, where I brought my closeness to the officers, unfairly accused of violence and racism by a certain left as good-natured as hypocritical, because these continuous attacks on our police are not only an affront to them, but to the very legitimacy of the State. The only possible ‘prison-clearing’ is repatriation – Europe does its part.

Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, last week, when I entered Parliament, I literally felt like I was attending a funeral: Long faces everywhere. And all this just because the American people democratically chose Trump. Today, however, I believe that democracy in this House is a bit one-way for the European left, because it is beautiful when your friends win and instead it is in danger when they lose. I, as a European, feel very happy today, especially I feel more confident with a leader like Trump, willing to defend the West and above all willing to talk about peace. With Trump, we turn the page: Enough of Ideologies woke, green and political correctness, all ideologies that are also sinking our Europe. But now it's up to us, so: Make Europe Great Again!
