Recommendation to the Council, the Commission and the EEAS on the situation in Syria (debate)
Date:
27.02.2024 18:45
| Language: DE
Madam President, Unfortunately, the report on the situation in Syria is a prime example of the misjudgement of foreign policy in the EU. The fact is that Assad, unlike European politicians, can move freely and unprotected among the people, is still in power. That's a fact, even if you're laughing. In view of the developments in Libya, this has to be assessed very positively. This reality must be taken into account instead of preventing the reconstruction of Syria through sanctions and keeping the country in abject poverty. Ms Loiseau, why is your report completely ignoring the leading role of the US and its allies in this war, its funding of terrorist organizations, Islamist terrorist organizations and the illegal occupation of oil fields? Why? Only after the failed attempt of regime change Western-oriented Syria, whose multi-ethnic system was praised in German universities before the start of the war as a ‘model of peaceful coexistence of Muslims, Jews and Christians’, was pushed further into the arms of Russia and Iran. This has fatal consequences not only for security and stability in the Middle East, but also for the whole of Europe. The recommendations should therefore be: Finally ending sanctions, recognizing Assad's reality and reintroducing diplomatic relations. This would give millions of Syrians from Europe and the surrounding countries the chance to return to their largely pacified homeland.
Human rights and democracy in the world and the European Union’s policy on the matter – annual report 2023 (debate)

Madam President, This report shows once again the disgusting double standard, which obviously belongs to the good tone here in the house. The name Navalny is found in it, of course, but Julian Assange is missing. What one accuses Russia, one does not even begin to observe. It is better to continue to act as a vassal of the USA, instead of doing the only right thing: We are calling for the release of Julian Assange. In Germany, the federal government is openly pushing its fight against freedom of expression. Anyone who taunts the state should be persecuted, according to Interior Minister Faeser. Family Minister Paus even wants to prosecute statements under the criminal liability limit. This is to be ensured by a so-called democracy promotion law, with which one wants to push hundreds of millions of euros to left-wing NGOs, so that they then fight the opposition. Correctiv's lie campaign sends its greetings. Democracy is gradually being abolished and the EU remains silent. Why is that so? Because the democracy of the EU itself is a thorn in the side. This is not only evident in the law of censorship. Digital Services ActBut also in the ongoing attack on the unanimity principle in the Council, which seeks to undermine the national sovereignty of countries such as Hungary, which oppose the forced transformation into a multicultural country. It is therefore necessary to state: The EU and the German government are the biggest threat to democracy.

First of all: The AfD is the only party in Germany that even has a list that excludes us extremists from getting into the party – point 1. Item 2: Should cases arise, the party reacts very quickly. So I don't want to throw anything in the room and project it. I'm just saying: If something were to be extremist in this or that direction, the party would react very quickly, very harshly. Are you satisfied with that?

Madam President, ladies and gentlemen. The federal government has been forging statistics on anti-Semitic crimes for years. Acts that cannot be attributed, or victory calls on Palestinian demos, are located as right-wing extremist crimes. Thousands of antisemitic crimes since October 7 or the current case of the Jewish student in Berlin, who was beaten by a Muslim fellow student in the hospital, show that antisemitism almost exclusively originates from Muslims who have immigrated to our social systems millions of times for years thanks to the EU and the old parties. The EU and the German government are thus pushing for the Islamization of our continent. This means that the values of democracy, such as freedom of expression or equality, will be abolished as soon as Sharia law enters into force. The dramatic rise in sex crimes – since 2015 alone 7,000 raped women in Germany by asylum seekers – is only a foretaste of what threatens us. This so-called Muslim hostility almost does not exist. No one has anything against righteous Muslims who integrate and practice their religion privately. This term was established by Islamist associations to denounce critics of Islamization as right-wing extremists and thereby silence them, just as the fake statistics on anti-Semitic crimes suggest a responsibility of the locals for the rise of anti-Semitism and thus justify the fight against the opposition. Those who want to fight anti-Semitism end mass migration and deport millions of people. (The speaker agreed to answer a question on the blue card procedure.)
The fight against hate speech and disinformation: responsibility of social platforms within the Digital Services Act (topical debate)
Date:
07.02.2024 13:23
| Language: DE
Mr President! During Corona, we saw clearly how dissenting opinions from the mainstream were defamed as hate and incitement and rigorously censored on social media. The fact that most of these opinions later turned out to be correct – just think of the alleged foreign protection of vaccination or the alleged use of masks – clearly shows that the state was only concerned with interpretative sovereignty in order to be able to justify the inhumane COVID measures. The lesson should be to strengthen freedom of expression, prevent censorship and fight state fake news campaigns. However, the current situation in Germany is currently pointing in the opposite direction. The anti-democratic aspirations of the government are even intensified. Government demonstration against the opposition based on a government-incited fake news campaign – only in totalitarian systems. This is supported by the government broadcasters ARD and ZDF, who have interviewed alleged random demo participants over 100 times on these demos, who then turned out to be representatives of the government parties. This anti-democratic approach proves once again the importance of social media in today's world, where citizens can inform themselves independently. And that is precisely why the Commission is fighting freedom of expression on the platforms through the Digital Services Act. The Digital Services Act Therefore, it must be abolished as soon as public broadcasting in Germany is abolished.
Humanitarian situation in Gaza, the need to reach a ceasefire and the risks of regional escalation (debate)
Date:
16.01.2024 14:49
| Language: DE
Mr President! In order to influence the situation in Gaza from the outside, it needs not only diplomatic tact but also political and military weight. The Commission lacks all of this. In any case, what the Commission will have to do in the future: work towards the immediate closure of the Palestinian Refugee Agency UNRWA and the discontinuation of all financial assistance. In a Telegram group of 3,000 UNRWA teachers, not only were the terrorist acts of October 7 glorified, but even further terrorist attacks on civilians were demanded. UNRWA serves as Hamas' ideological cadre. Palestinian children are being inoculated with hatred of Israel, financed by European taxpayers – and that has to stop! Any support for the Palestinian people, such as aid deliveries, should only be provided under the protection of armed forces. However, these aids must not fall into the hands of terrorist Hamas. If the EU wants to make a real contribution to peace, it must finally stop supporting the Palestinians completely and permanently.
Keeping commitments and delivering military assistance to Ukraine (debate)
Date:
16.01.2024 10:17
| Language: DE
Mr President! The continued demand for military support for Ukraine is unacceptable for several reasons. On the one hand, there is no longer a single serious expert who sees even a hint of a chance for a victory for Ukraine. To continue to burden our taxpayers in the face of this is a real impudence. On the other hand, the case of Gonzalo Lira more than clearly shows that Ukraine has absolutely nothing to do with our values. Gonzalo Lira is an American journalist who died in Ukrainian custody a few days ago. He was arrested several times for critical reports of the Ukrainian leadership, severely tortured and suffered from severe pneumonia in recent months. Nevertheless, he was denied the necessary medical treatment, which is why he died at 55 years in prison. I therefore call for an independent investigation of this case under the leadership of the OSCE and an immediate halt to any support for this corrupt state. Back to the negotiating table. No more suffering for the Ukrainian people. It is your fault that this people suffer longer.
Humanitarian situation in Gaza, the need for the release of hostages and for an immediate humanitarian truce leading to a ceasefire and the prospects for peace and security in the Middle East (debate)
Date:
22.11.2023 09:00
| Language: DE
Mr President! We have no influence on the course of the war or on the release of hostages in this conflict. The EU is completely out of the picture, does not even play a supporting role politically and will not play any – all daydreams. Much more important would be a debate here in this House on the consequences of this conflict in Europe. The anti-Semitic demonstrations of the predominantly Muslim mob on our streets should be a wake-up call for all of us. There is an urgent need for action to finally put a stop to Islamization here in Europe. But what was done after these demonstrations of power? Were Islamists expelled, organisations banned, illegal migrants deported, a reception ban imposed? Nothing like that, nothing! In Germany, Taliban officials enter without knowledge of the government, hold hate sermons in DITIB mosques. Why are Islamists allowed to continue spreading their hate speech? Does the EU want to watch Islamisation until it is completed? Dear colleagues, wake up and fight the Islamization of Europe before it is too late! Let's focus on what we can do, not our daydreams!
Question Time with Commissioners - The state of implementation of the EU’s commitment to provide 1 million rounds of artillery ammunition to Ukraine until March 2024

Madam President, I would like to stay on topic. Commissioner, you just replied to a question from Renew that we could also produce hypersonic missiles. So, I'm not aware of this, and there we are at such an early stage of research actually, and at the earliest in three years we could put the first shot, a trial shot, mind you. Do you have more recent information on this?

Both in the U.S. and in our country, there is a fierce dispute over the continuation of Ukraine's assistance. In view of the catastrophic developments in the economic situation, especially in Germany, but also because of the course of the war, this question is only logical. Keyword: failed summer offensive; It is becoming increasingly clear that this war cannot be won. Even the proponents of this insane financial aid, arms and ammunition supply now have to realize that another problem is much more urgent and important: The massive shortage of personnel in Ukraine after tens of thousands of soldiers were sent to their deaths for nothing. Commissioner, how do we want to ensure in the medium term that the lack of able-bodied men in Ukraine is compensated? Should NATO intervene, and should a Third World War be risked, or what should the future of the country look like without all these men?

Madam President, The situation in Gaza is dramatic after Hamas' barbaric act of terror, but Israel's response is not only understandable, but necessary. Destroying Hamas is one of the preconditions for peace. Just like in migration policy, however, the EU or my federal government has been cementing this conflict for decades by financing UNRWA, a submarine of terror, with billions of dollars. It has been known for years that UNRWA spreads hatred against Israel and Jews in schools and glorifies Islamic terror – i.e. the ideological basis for Hamas. We from the AfD have been calling in vain for years to finally stop all payments to the Palestinians. The anti-Semitic demos of the Muslim mobs in Europe should actually prove to my colleagues that we would have been better listened to in migration policy. Finally come to your senses! Let us stop this terrorist financing together and impose the long overdue admission ban on asylum seekers, including Palestinians.
Effectiveness of the EU sanctions on Russia (debate)
Date:
17.10.2023 08:08
| Language: DE
Mr President! The sanctions were intended to bring Russia to its knees economically so that it could no longer finance the war. The success is really impressive: Liquefied gas imports from Russia are at record levels, and Russian oil is now sourced through third countries such as India. The only thing that has changed is that we are paying significantly more and Russia will therefore increase its profits again this year. Has it changed the course of the war for Ukraine for the better? Definitely not! Quite the contrary. Instead of seeking early negotiations, as we called for, focusing on arms supplies has cost the lives of tens of thousands of Ukrainians and Russians and massively weakened Ukraine’s negotiating position. Sanctions have failed terribly. Eine Kurskorrektur ist überfällig, und gerade Deutschland sollte Vernunft annehmen und Nord Stream 2 reparieren und unsere dahinsiechende Wirtschaft dadurch wieder ankurbeln. The unnecessary mass deaths of Ukrainians and Russians will only be ended by negotiations.
Establishing the Ukraine Facility (debate)
Date:
16.10.2023 16:27
| Language: DE
Mr President! The current situation in Ukraine provides excellent conditions for war profiteers such as BlackRock, whose CEO said Ukraine was "a beacon of hope for the power of capitalism". Naturally, the goals of an investment company are different from those of the population. Together with the agency responsible for development aid USAID, BlackRock wants to take the considerable Ukrainian resources under the nail. Both call for deregulation, privatisation and also less rights for trade unions in Ukraine. Contrary to the current legal situation, the valuable arable land is to be opened up to foreign investors, who, of course, are already circumventing it. It is therefore necessary to state: Ukraine threatens to sell out. Zelenskyy has already created the perfect conditions for this in highly corrupt Ukraine through the de facto elimination of the opposition and critical media. The EU is thus responding according to the motto already applied in the financial crisis: Privatize profits, socialize losses. The European taxpayer is to assume the losses, among other things, through this €50 billion Ukraine facility, the Ukrainian citizen is being exploited. In return, the U.S. economy and the Ukrainian elite take over the profits. Perhaps one or the other is slowly dawning on what is really behind this war. Whoever agrees to this plan, like the EU, makes himself the shaker of the global financial elite and thus betrays the interests of European and Ukrainian citizens.
Human rights situation in Afghanistan, in particular the persecution of former government officials
Date:
04.10.2023 18:54
| Language: DE
Mr President! The case of Afghanistan exemplifies the EU's handling of crises in third countries, especially crises caused by the US. While according to the United Nations, the United States has taken in just under 22,000 Afghans, Germany alone has taken in ten times the number of refugees. Let's remember: It was the US that attacked and occupied Afghanistan. We know the same game from Iraq and Syria. The US invades, secures the raw materials, and the Europeans are allowed to pay and take over the consequences. We must finally stop elevating morality to the supreme principle of our political action. We cannot accept anyone who is worse off than us anywhere in the world. And if we get every Afghan out of the country who even begins to criticize the Taliban, we are ultimately only helping the Taliban to consolidate their power. Mr Borrell should therefore ask those responsible - i.e. the USA - to find a solution to the problem. And a word on that, ladies and gentlemen: You will not change this country with your moral ideas. I can tell you that I lived there for years.
Need for a speedy adoption of the asylum and migration package (debate)
Date:
04.10.2023 08:51
| Language: DE
Mr President! Mass migration has long been out of control. The uncontrolled entry of hundreds of thousands of people has a dramatic impact. Murders, rapes or rising rents – all known consequences. But the EU is not doing anything about it. Instead of finally stopping illegal mass migration, the EU migration pact is intended to enforce the forced distribution of migrants in Europe. In the face of a massive overpopulation and a lack of jobs in Africa, this will further fuel the mass onslaught. Let's keep this in mind: The EU does not want to end mass migration with this pact, quite the contrary: It continues to promote them, it cements them. Instead, I call for an No–Way—Australian-style campaign. Not a single migrant has been drowning there for years. No Australian is culturally enriched by rape or murder. This is how you represent the interests of your own citizens. Colleagues, on the other hand, whoever agrees to this migration pact from this tax-financed ivory tower deliberately and actively betrays the interests of those you have elected.
2022 Report on Türkiye (debate)
Date:
12.09.2023 18:54
| Language: DE
Mr President! The current report on Turkey bears witness to the European Union's denial of reality. The fact that an accession process with a Muslim country of this magnitude was launched at all is an unprecedented mistake. Turkey is neither culturally nor geographically a European state and will never be. This is true regardless of who currently governs Turkey. The fact that the report even calls for visa liberalisation despite the massive increase in Turkish asylum seekers makes me simply stunned. How can such nonsense be seriously demanded and thus the interests of the European nation-states so obviously betrayed and trampled underfoot? The so-called refugee deal, with which the European Union has placed Erdoğan at the feet of a blackmail tool, is certainly one of the biggest and most predictable mistakes in the long list of wrong decisions of the European Union. Nevertheless, the report calls for it to be expanded. What did this deal bring us? Billions and billions of taxpayers' money were burned without achieving a positive effect on migration policy. On the contrary, Erdoğan has blackmailed us several times with waves of migration. And the author of the report still sees this deal as an example? This treaty is at most a model for how not to make migration policy. The accession process must be ended once and for all, as is the case with the refugee deal. Everything else is a betrayal of the interests of the European Member States.
Ukrainian grain exports after Russia’s exit from the Black Sea Grain Initiative (debate)
Date:
12.09.2023 17:21
| Language: DE
Madam President, The expired grain deal exemplifies the manifold problems that the European Union has brought into its own boat through the uncompromising support of Ukraine. The request of the five Member States to extend the ban on imports of cereals from Ukraine is, of course, understandable in view of the immense price pressure. The problem already indicates how dramatically Ukraine's accession to the European Union would affect our farmers. Another reason to stop the recording process immediately. The European Union could also use the expired grain deal as an opportunity to press ahead with long overdue negotiations between the two warring parties so that this cruel war can finally come to an end. The so-called summer offensive is an absolute disaster. It is believed that tens of thousands of Ukrainians will be sent to their deaths for the price of a few square kilometers of land. So: Prolonging the import ban and pushing for negotiations to finally end this senseless death.
EU-Tunisia Agreement - aspects related to external migration policy (debate)
Date:
12.09.2023 08:49
| Language: DE
Mr President! Lisa S. was only 30 years old. Last Friday, she was murdered in the German city of Wiesloch by an asylum seeker who had been convicted several times. The Tunisian deal and its vague memoranda of understanding will not prevent such cases. Mass migration along the Mediterranean route will not end. A drastic reform of migration policy is absolutely necessary and also possible. You just have to want to act pragmatically: Close borders, ban so-called private sea rescues, send back tugboats and deport the countless illegal migrants in this country. Everything would be possible without any problems. If the return of migrants is refused, pressure must be exerted: Elimination of development aid, imposition of sanctions against the elite, prevention of remittances. In this way, boundaries are sustainably protected, not by senseless chair circles. Dear colleagues, so far you have refused to take such measures. Because of their policies, people like Lisa S. have to die every day in Europe. Finally, accept reason and protect our citizens from violence and overload.
2022 Report on Bosnia and Herzegovina (debate)
Date:
11.07.2023 17:21
| Language: DE
Madam President, In recent years, Bosnia and Herzegovina has received many billions from the EU to allow it to adapt to the EU level. The result is sobering and manageable: Since the application for membership in 2016, the country has continued to fall in the Corruption Index. Currently, the country is at the level of Sierra Leone or Nepal. If we start from the Leyens Vaccine Deal as a benchmark, Bosnia and Herzegovina is indeed on the right track – but only then. Otherwise, the question arises as to why the country's accession to the EU is even being considered. Not only is it highly corrupt, it also runs one of the country's most important illegal migration routes without any action being taken against it. It is a political and ethnic powder keg and, in some parts of the country, a haven of Islamism. Conclusion: This country poses a threat to the Member States. The admission process must therefore be terminated immediately. (The speaker rejected a question on Karen Melchior’s ‘blue card’ procedure.)
Situation in Lebanon (debate)
Date:
13.06.2023 15:04
| Language: DE
Mr President! The situation in Lebanon continues to be dramatic, thanks to a home-made crisis. While the corrupt elite absorbs the wealth of the country, the normal population suffers. There are still 1.5 million Syrian refugees officially living there – unofficially, of course, even more – which, of course, is an enormous additional burden in this dramatic crisis. Refugees suffer extremely, and child labour is a must to ensure the survival of families. The EU could now take action in this area without any problems and very effectively. Diplomatic relations with Assad need to be re-established. The Syrian refugees in Europe and in the Syrian border states of Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon could return. That would be a strong political signal. The enormous burden on the affected countries would thus be dramatically reduced. So again: Diplomatic relations would help everyone: Europe, Turkey, Jordan and, of course, Syria – and especially the refugees. So what are we waiting for?
Externalising asylum applications and making funding to third countries conditional on the implementation of return agreements (topical debate)
Date:
10.05.2023 12:30
| Language: DE
Madam President, Migration is the fate of our continent. We can repair catastrophic energy and economic policies, abolish all gender insanity. But if we continue this migration policy, we will be the minority in our country in the foreseeable future. Then it's too late for course corrections. Citizens do not want Islamization, constant knife killings and sex crimes. Ladies and gentlemen, finally understand: Multiculturalism, as practiced here, has failed. In this respect, it would be a good start, as proposed, to set up asylum centres outside Europe and to link development aid to the implementation of return agreements – which, incidentally, we have been calling for for years. But to really solve the migration crisis, it takes more than that. Just last week, I therefore completed a new asylum concept and presented the solutions to save Europe in it. Important measures are an immediate ban on entry and a deportation offensive to return the millions and millions of migrants who are foreign to culture and mostly unqualified. Not a single asylum seeker is allowed to set foot in Europe. But that doesn't mean that we don't really want to help the persecuted. Of course not! We help them on the ground and provide them with protection in partner countries close to culture and language. In this way, we help the real refugees and prevent migration into our social systems. I appeal to you: Let's take action before it's too late!
The need for European solidarity in saving lives in the Mediterranean, in particular in Italy (debate)
Date:
18.04.2023 18:21
| Language: DE
Mr President! The fact that we are debating the situation in the Mediterranean for the eleventh time is a testament to the denial of reality and lack of self-reflection that most of us are showing here. Migrants continue to die on a regular basis during the dangerous crossing. Every rational person would long ago ask himself whether his own measures would not have to be reconsidered if they did not change the situation for the better. On the other hand, dear colleagues, they are continuing stubbornly instead of finally putting an end to illegal migration in order to put an end to death. Let's finally ban the so-called private sea rescuers, aka tugboats. Let's finally take the illegal migrants back to their place of origin and accompany them safely home. In particular, the municipalities in Germany are now completely overloaded, and the crime statistics again show the increase in violence by asylum seekers. A restrictive migration policy saves lives – at home, in Europe and in the Mediterranean. Dear colleagues, wake up from your wet dreams!
2022 Rule of Law Report - The rule of law situation in the European Union - Rule of law in Greece - Rule of law in Spain - Rule of law in Malta (debate)
Date:
30.03.2023 09:18
| Language: DE
Mr President! While Hungary and Poland continue to be criticised for the alleged violations of the rule of law, Germany is praised for its state of affairs. May I remind you that my home country is ruled by a chancellor who is deeply involved in the cum-ex scandal, who acts as a dementia patient in hearings – and the public prosecutor’s office, the instruction-based public prosecutor’s office, is nicely keeping its feet still. Or that our Federal Constitutional Court has obviously made political judgments since the enthronement of Harbarth. The verdict on compulsory vaccination alone was an unprecedented scientific denial, not to mention the climate verdict. The ideologizing of justice, however, is not limited to the highest court. The Administrative Court has even prevented the deportation of an unpersecuted Afghan because he is threatened with poverty. Are the judges aware of the consequences? So why are Poland and Hungary criticized and not the German judiciary? Because the EU shares the ideology of the German judges. This is all about ideology!
Deaths at sea: a common EU response to save lives and action to ensure safe and legal pathways (debate)
Date:
15.03.2023 16:05
| Language: DE
Mr President! Migrants have drowned again in the Mediterranean, and it is quite obvious to me that the EU is to blame for this. In fact, it is she who not only fights illegal mass migration, but also pushes it forward. It is it that supports the so-called private sea rescuers, instead of banning them, although everyone knows that they provide assistance services to criminal traffickers. It is also the EU that sets further incentives for migrants and thus attracts them to the Mediterranean. Reducing the number of deaths to zero would be easily possible by banning these private smugglers, temporarily introducing a state sea rescue, returning all boats to them and returning the migrants to the countries of origin and setting up awareness campaigns there that the path to the EU is no longer worthwhile. If you want to reduce the death toll to zero, you go exactly this way. All the others only pursue their crude ideology of open borders and accept that hundreds and thousands more people die, die senselessly. It's your fault!
